Directed by Liz Courtney and edited by Karin Steiniger, this documentary follows a team of female climate scientists on a mission to Antarctica led by Professor Benjamin Horton, Director of The Earth Observatory of Singapore and one of the world’s leading experts in sea-level rise.

Accompanied by Director of Photography Michael Dillon AM, the team endeavours to conduct innovative scientific research, providing critical insights into the pace of Antarctica’s rapid melt and its implications for the region.

Liz Courtney supports the need for more women in STEM fields and hopes this film will encourage students at school and entering university to consider a pathway in science and technology.

The film will be introduced by Liz Courtney and Professor Dorrit Jacob (Director, ANU Research School of Earth Sciences) and followed by a panel and audience discussion.
