The Artist Shed
88 Wollongong Street Fyshwick ACT
Paverty started in 1970 and continue to play an eclectic mix of traditional and original songs, ballads and instrumentals with country, blues, rock, bluegrass, skiffle and jug band influences. The Pavs will have you up and dancing (1.5 metres apart!) in no time.
They are joined by Turnip Sundae – cellist Rita Woolhouse, guitarist Fred Pilcher and Simone Dawson on flute and tenor guitar. These great musicians will be playing some of Fred’s favourite songs, Simone’s original material and Rita’s funky tunes. The Turnips blend vocals, instruments and rhythms to create a perfect contemporary sound.
Tickets #20, limited seating, bookings recommended at https://artistsshed.com.au/events/ or phone 0407 607 516.
