As part of celebrations for its 60th year Canberra Spinners and Weavers will showcase its members’ work and tools.
The exhibition includes items from past and current life members, highlighting earlier fashions and current styles and explorations, equipment, fibres and approaches to the various crafts.
The Open Long Weekend from Friday 21 to Sunday 23 August includes many demonstrations, tours of CSW rooms, library and Community Dye Garden.
Visitors can also take part in discussion groups and mini-workshops, and spend time crafting with members and friends.
CSW Recycle Shop will be open with fibre, handspun yarn, weaving yarn, books and equipment for sale.
