Fantasy Museum of Trans Sporting Excellence and Portal to Other Dimensions
An Uncharted Territory Festival event
aMBUSH gallery at Kambri, ANU
8 – 16 July 2023

This immersive installation imagines a reality where openly trans and gender diverse people have always been included and celebrated in sports and games.

The Fantasy Museum invites guests to embark on a journey through time and imagination, where they can explore the history and artifacts at their own pace. It will be co-created by Zev Aviv and Ketura Budd over the course of ten days of the Uncharted Territory Festival.

The community is invited to witness, contribute, and enjoy this extraordinary experience. Visitors can contribute and co-create the fantasy history with the artists.

Guests can create their own Trans Sporting Hero, rewrite the History Book, contribute lyrics to the CLUBSCORE anthem, and much more.

The purpose of this installation is to bring trans and gender diverse people, as well as the broader queer community, together to mourn, celebrate, and strategise.

The Opening Ceremony for Queer Futures on 16 July 2023 will mark the closing night of the Fantasy Museum. It will be a blend of ceremony, funeral, ritual, and party, featuring performances by local drag performers Radha, Kaotic Dezires, Val Volkov, and the debut of CLUBSCORE’s own drag deity.
