Kiku is an intergenerational short dance film takes audiences on a heartfelt journey through the joys of ageing.
Directed by 23-year-old, Japanese-Australian emerging director Natsuko Yonezawa, this film showcases the stories of six extraordinary women, each revealing her experience of ageing through the power of dance and song.
The film is accompanied by an original choral soundtrack, composed by Rebecca Hilliard and performed by members of the ANU Chamber and the Luminescence Children’s Choir.
The film’s message is one of compassion and understanding towards ageing,.
