Line Work, by Canberra based academic and print and text artist, Caren Florance, builds on her research into online trolling. The exhibition uses new and old systems of communication to explore ways to subvert and convert the hurt we carry after encountering verbal attacks.
The interactive artwork Bad Keys, designed in collaboration with Tim Brook, centres on a computer program and , is an exercise in translation or subverting translation, making language deliberately strange.

Bona Fide is a selection of experimental work curated by Karena Keys, TAC Visual Arts Program Manager. It focuses on questions about the world and our place in it.
Caren Florance is also offering a free public program during the exhibition.
Register for a free Zine Workshop from 1pm – 4pm on Saturday 13 July.
