The Marsden Art Group is a collective of Canberra-based artists who have been exhibiting together for over two decades in a wide range of mediums including painting, drawing, photography, ceramics, textiles and mixed media.

Richard visited Strathnairn Arts to talk to members of the Marsden Art Group about Crooked

The exhibition includes works by Ian Baird, Julie Delves, Liz Dovey, Michael Felgenhaur, Val Gee, Ann Gould, Susan Hey, Marilyn Hutchinson, Margaret Kalms and Barbara van der Linden

Inspired in part by the works of Bernard Ollis, Crooked encourages artists to move beyond conventional ways of seeing. The exhibition explores distortion, imbalance and shifting perspectives.

The exhibition celebrates the creative possibilities that emerge when rules and perspectives are bent.
