Dubbed as Ireland’s Billie Holiday, Mary is a jazz & blues singer whose work is marked by emotional depth, expression & powerful vocal capacity.
Mary came to fame in 1985 with her debut album, Tired and Emotional. Almost 40 years later, with 17 albums under her belt, she is known as one of Ireland’s greatest soulful jazz and blues singers who also has fans worldwide.
She has lived through childhood trauma, alcoholism and drug addition. She embraces each song with empathy interspersed with humour.
