7.30pm 28 October 2026
120 minutes
Resonance presents co-leaders Sandy Evans (saxophones) and Andrea Keller (piano), Kristin Berardi, (vocals), and Jenny Barnes (vocals).
The suite draws on their shared experience of building a creative life while caring for partners, children, aging parents and community. It is about the demands placed on mid-career and elder women, and a jazz scene and society, still slow to recognise them.
Lyrics for the project were commissioned, premiering new works by Michele Morgan, Hazel Smith and Andrea Keller, and poems by Sara Teasdale and Jeannie Greensfelder.
This project aims to inspire meaningful conversations about gender, creativity, and the challenges faced by women in the arts.
The full Resonance album was released on 18 September 2026 and is currently available on Bandcamp.
